The top of each sconce is inset with a Sevres porcelain portrait miniature of  Princess Elizabeth the Sister of Louis XVI & Madame De Montesson the wife of Louis Philippe Duke of Orleans

At each end is an arm also with a Pendleton armrest cap

This very attractive Grand Tour miniature portrait of Beatrice Cenci was for several hundred years believed to be by Guido Reni, and scholars now believe that it is by Ginerva Cantofoli (1608 1672), the painting is signed illegibly
