Midcentury Wood Salt and Pepper Shakers silver_bow_pin The metal whistle is markedA classic set of wood salt and pepper shakers circa 1950s, made in Japan. The handsome set features wooden screw on caps, the holes are in the shape of an S and a P to differentiate between the two. Usually these sets were painted with roosters and other country motifs, it's unusual to find a pair unpainted. Marked Woodpecker Woodware. Each shaker measures approximately 4" tall x 1 7 8" square. In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks
