Austria, Empire. An Honour Decoration of the Red Cross, Officer Cross with War Decoration, c. 1915 GTRexclude the 12 o’clock arm inscribed(Ehrenzeichen vom Roten Kreuz). Instituted August 14th, 1914. An exceptionally well preserved example of this award, constructed of silver with a red and white enameled cross, the obverse medallion features a red enameled cross on a circular white enameled field, surrounded by a ring of red enamels inscribed with Patriae Ac Humanitati, a green enameled wreath sits on the cross surrounding the medallion, the reverse is plain, with a centrally mounted
