It features a pale mauve background coated in maroon dendrites. 18mm x 44mm From Sonora, Mexico, this stone is most likely a dolomite as it is softer than jasper and rhyolite. Called Sonora Dendritic for its prevalent dendrites, it typically shows a blue gray or tan colored background with dark maroon to mauve dendrites and sealed fracture lines.
